MultiplyMate Privacy Policy · Updated 2026-09-11

A short note on your data.

MultiplyMate does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

MultiplyMate is an offline times-tables trainer that drills the 144 multiplication facts from 1×1 to 12×12 and tracks how well each one is known. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.

I · Collection

Information we collect

None. The app never asks for an email address, a name that leaves the device, a phone number, a location, or any other personal detail. The display name you can set on the profile screen is stored locally and is only ever shown back to you.

II · Storage

What lives on your device

For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:

All of it is written to the app's own private storage: a local SQLite database plus the system preferences store.

None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.

III · Permissions

What the app asks for

The Android manifest declares one permission, INTERNET, and the app does not use it. It is there because the Flutter tooling includes it in the generated manifest; MultiplyMate contains no networking code and makes no network requests. No other runtime permission is requested on Android, and the iOS build requests none at all — there is no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library or notification access.

IV · Network

What goes over the wire

The app is fully offline: no HTTP client, no WebSocket, no cloud database and no backend of any kind. No data leaves your device through MultiplyMate. The one exception is yours to make — the profile screen has a Share button that opens your device's standard share sheet with a short sentence summarising your own progress. Nothing is sent unless you pick a destination, and MultiplyMate has no visibility into what you then do with it.

V · Third parties

Who else is involved

None are integrated. The app bundles no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no attribution framework. Its dependencies are limited to the Flutter framework and open-source packages for local storage (sqflite, shared_preferences), state management (flutter_riverpod), charts (fl_chart), animation (flutter_animate), utilities (collection) and the system share sheet (share_plus).

VI · Children

Younger readers

MultiplyMate is suitable for children and is designed with them in mind. Because it collects no personal information, transmits nothing, contains no advertising and offers no in-app purchases or external links, it does not knowingly or unknowingly gather data from users of any age. This is consistent with COPPA and with the GDPR's provisions on children's data.

VII · Your rights

What you can do

Your data never leaves your device, so you already hold all of it. To erase it completely, uninstall MultiplyMate — the operating system deletes the app's private storage, practice database included, along with it. On Android you can also use Settings › Apps › MultiplyMate › Storage › Clear data. There is no account to close and no copy held anywhere else.

VIII · Revisions

Changes to this policy

If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
